Robust and Full Bodied, but Not Bitter
August 24, 2018
We are BIG coffee drinkers in our house. Our local supermarket chain quit carrying Dark Satin and by comparison everything else was dishwater. I got used to drinking great coffee in Italy, and wanted great coffee at home. We order Dark Satin several cases at a time, twice yearly. While wonderful in an American style drip coffeemaker, treat yourself to Dark Satin done in a French Press and you will never go to Starbucks again. Versatile enough to be used in cold-brew pots also if you are patient and give it some extra time.

Rich, flavorful, bold. A coffee drinker's coffee!
I wish we had it on the east coast!

I used to be able to find this in regular supermakets (maybe five years ago) but no more. At least it's available online and I hope that doesn't change.
My absolute favorite

I LOVE this coffee. I don’t like McDonald’s because it’s too bitter and Starbucks tastes burnt to me. I only bring this up because this coffee balances the rich dark flavor without the harshness of popular coffees. It isn’t sold locally here in KY and I only stumbled across it at a salvage store once. It’s very reasonably priced and makes me more human and less feral, so I will definitely order again!

Love to review it if I could find it! Never saw it in the Northeast...

Its just so rich and full bodied without any bitterness . Once you have a cup of it the no other coffee will do. My only complaint is that it's so hard to find. The store here stopped carrying chock full o nuts coffee here and where I was getting chock full o nuts coffee online doesn't have dark satin. If everybody tasted it, it would be the best seller everywhere!!
